Paul HekimianExecutive Director

While Paul has worked with Matt Miller and the Foundation for many years, he did not take on the roll of Executive Director until 2005. An endurance athlete himself, he became inspired by guiding visually impared athletes himself, and selected to take on a more active roll with The Foundation.

He has been the Senior Account Executive at shipping company Overnite Express since 1995. Responsible for its new business development effort, he has overseen a doubling of the company's business during his tenure.

During his 17 years in marketing, Paul has advised more than a dozen companies on their client-building strategies in industries such as sports, food and catering, corporate law, delivery services, office management and entertainment. Paul has shown through his vast experience that he understands how to help a company connect with its client base and cultivate a broad base of customers.

Prior to Overnite Express, Paul was the Administrator at the law offices of Pircher, Nichols & Meeks in Los Angeles. While employed at PN&M, Paul founded a specialty cheesecake company, Paul's Cheesecakes. Within five years of starting the business, Paul sold the company for a profit.

Paul founded the Los Angeles Triathlon Club in 2000, which now claims more than 1,400 members. The LA Tri Club was established to provide a network of information, support services, training and racing activities, friendship and fun for all ages and abilities.

Paul comes from a family of entrepreneurs and believes that with the right team the possibilities are endless.
