Introducing, Operation Refocus

OPERATION REFOCUS was established in 2009 by the C Different Foundation for the explicit purpose of actively engaging and supporting our Nation’s blinded veterans in the sport of triathlon. C Different Foundation will be there side-by-side to guide blinded veterans as they take one more leap of faith armed with their inherent spirit of commitment, determination, and perseverance.

C Different Foundation’s inaugural Operation Refocus event will be held at Ironman 70.3 Augusta on September 27, 2009. C Different Foundation welcomes all triathletes to compete on behalf of blinded veterans. It is estimated that 13% of all wounded evacuees from Iraq have experienced a serious eye injury. The venue’s proximity to the VA Blind Rehabilitation Center in Augusta Georgia promises to make Operation Refocus 2009 a memorable experience for all.

If you want to join the effort to support and serve our blinded veterans as they embark on their journey of triathlon, here are some ways in which you can help:

· Compete in Ironman 70.3 Augusta as a member of Operation Refocus by committing to raise $1,000.

· Make a donation to Operation Refocus: 75% of all money raised will go directly to support blinded veteran participation in C Different Foundation triathlon events.

· Become a C Different volunteer.

· Spread the word about this wonderful opportunity to give back to our Nation’s finest!
