C·Different was founded to inspire visually impaired people around the world to lead active and healthy lives by connecting them with sighted guides and involving communities to support their endeavors.

2008 Ironteam Champions

2008 Ironman Coeur d'Alene

June 22nd, 2008

Congratulations to all 19 of the Ironteam athletes, as well as the 4 blind athletes, who completed Ironman Coeur d'Alene on June 22nd.

The athletes raised more than $100,000 in total for the C Different Foundation, while inspiring thousands of other athletes to get involved with the Foundation.

- Richard Bernstein and his guide Matt Miller completed the course in 14 hours, 36 minutes, 54 seconds, to complete his first Ironman Triathlon

- Charlie Plaskon and his guide Mike Bush completed the course in 15 hours, 33 minutes, 29 seconds

- Dave Bigoney and his guide Chris Laskey completed the course in 17 hours, 56 minutes

- Ryan Van Praet completed the course solo in 13 hours, 16 minutes, 5 seconds

The C Different Foundation would like to thank all the members of the Ironteam, NA Sports for putting on such a fantastic event, the volunteers out on the course for making it happen, and all of our friends and family who allowed us to train for the last 6 months.
