Kim VanHooser

I am a single mom of a beautiful 10 year old daughter (Victoria) going to school, working, training, and getting married on December 15 2007. I enjoyed my first triathlon (most of it) and look forward to my second. My eye condition is called Retinitis Pigmentosa and I have about 7 degrees of fields left. I am 39, I also like to ski, climb, hike, and camp.

I recently hosted a 5K of my own here in San Antonio, TX in order to raise awareness on White Cane day so that more people in my community can understand what those of us with visual impairments must deal with on a daily basis.
